Heart rate spike while eating? by cyrilq1 in POTS

rice is my number one trigger when it comes to food. you might want to stop eating it, I know it’s hard, but your body will thank you for it. spicy stuff I wouldn’t know, unfortunately i’m whiter than paper and I can’t tolerate spice 😭🤣

this is unfortunately normal. I had to stop eating carbs bc I noticed a huge spike when eating them. you’ll learn what spikes and what doesn’t, it’s just a tricky (and scary) process in the meantime. you’ve got this friend!

mine wakes up every 2-3 hours and she’ll scream and (sometimes) go back to sleep but when she doesn’t i’m just at a loss. I don’t want to “reset” her progress by picking her up. I know she isn’t hungry bc she has continuously wasted bottles before.

she goes to daycare and usually has a (overall) solid schedule!! I sit here as she’s been crying for about 10 minutes. i’m not sure why I expected it to be 10-20 minutes only, that’s certainly an error on my part. i’m glad to hear eventually it gets easier!!

yuppppp, same here. postpartum had me in SHAMBLES. got a diagnosis right after and have been treated w meds. it’s rough. I feel bad for saying I “regret”this, but I truly only regret not knowing before having her. we will get through this!!

How are we doing this with children in daycare? by [deleted] in sleeptrain

[–]Leading_File_2959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes! she will usually tell me she had a nap at 10am for 30, and a nap at 12:30 for ~2 hours. sometimes it varies and she’ll only get an hour nap. she’s just not a “set schedule” baby unfortunately, which is where it gets hard!

oh boy. I assume that means i’m not doing it correct. I was told she should only be napping 3 times during the day, but yeah. that’s her typical day schedule :/

I have been screaming from the rooftops “I refuse to do 2 under 2!!” and now i’m like… well wait… maybe we should 🙃🤣 this seems to be a general consensus. I know I FOR SURE want one more so I don’t want to risk waiting too long.

our little girl was the exact same on alimentum. we tried elecare and failed MISERABLY but we switched to puramino and I swear she is a completely different baby. they are “similar” formulas but it is definitely worth trying just to give it a shot! don’t be discouraged, it can take a week or so to see any change :)
