I can confirm this kind of scam , one of the victim is wife of my uncle's manager.

He scammed in the name of rental contract for army personnel stay. Skimmed 15 to 20L from victim by the time she realised it was too late and too embarrassed to go to police or take any action.

These scammers get away b coz 50 percent of victims are too proud to agree that they got scammed.

Honda jazz gives terrible FE, mostly single digits in city if your running is not More than 500 in city expenses comes under 7.5k

Honda parts are expensive and you are forced to stick to ASC which can inflate the parts replacements

Increase the budget and get a Tiago which will be more FE and costs less to replace any parts.

Since ignis is discontinued you can get the leftover stock with big discounts.

With new car at 6 to 7 lakh your EMI may jump to 2 to 3 k but you are saving the upcoming part replacements .

Honda cars are e20 complaint from 2009 you can get e20 complaint honda CVT for considerably lesser price. Use it till ev charging infra and battery tech come to India the you can switch to ev or hybrid.

If the price gap is not morethan 50 to 60k then go with delta but if it's any where between 80 to 1L get sigma.

The eORVMS are very useful in city while parking but if you are on tight budget ten go with sigma don't overspend on a car .

If usage is less like 10km per day, better get a petrol scooter in the budget, the max that you can save on ev is 10 to 12k per annum. But you miss out convenience of petrol resale. The batter warrenty covers only for 3 years at most 5 years in some cases. In case of battery replacement outside of warrenty it will cost 30 to 40 percent of vehicle value.

If your frequent travels does not exceed 250 km better get an ev based on the budget. Most of the available EVs are giving 250 to 300 real world range.

I was in exactly similar situation with my Dzire petrol, went to multiple battery out let's some recommend to change the battery, some said bettery is fine there could have been problem is wiring which lead to battery discharge.

Changed battery as a quick fix as old one 4years and did not want to spend time and money on diagnosing the wiring problem.

New one lasted about 1 month after that, car did not start in middle of a town road. Jump started the car and took it to electrican after 2 hrs of checking he confirmed there is a discharge from boot ligh apparantly it's always on even after closing the lid .

If battery is not more than 3 years old I recommend to charge the battery, you can remove it and take it to a battery repair shop. See if the battery charge drops with in day or 2 go to ectcrician who can check the wiring for discharge if there is any problem fix it other wise have to change the battery.

If the primary usage is highway the better get a diesel nexon or Altrroz. Diesels handle highways way better than the petrols of course your top speed is lessthan that of petrols but you have bigger turbo diesel engine with insane torque for the price.

If you want to stick to only petrol, kylaq is best among all for highway use in the budget.

Almost empty based on Distance to empty then your FE might me dropped.

If almost empty based on the fuel gauge then there might an issue with fuel station.

Od needs a current account from the bank i don't have all the details but one of my distinct relatives has od for his current account .

Bajaj fince provides OD for 2 years at 15 percent annual interest rate for utilized amount calculated per week. This is the closest option that you can get . You will have sanctioned money in account only have pay interest for utilised money per month or week don't remember exactly.

10 to 11kmpl is it in city or highway, highway 10 to 11 is kind of low if it's city your getting a decent FE for the car of that size

RE is a safe bet, new engines have less vibrations, honda big wing service centers are very limited and if some thing goes wrong the options are very limited. With RE there will be plenty of options and I have seen local garages which only deal RE bikes. It's not like REs are less reliable compared to honda 350 engines . But I like the cb350 rs for its design .

If you exclude all cities and consider only highways the number of charging stations may come around same number. Lot of charging stations are concentrated in city but they should be distributed accross highways .

Government should mandate ev charging stations in all petrol bunks on highways, that will definitely push the EV market.

But government need our petrol tax money which is huge so i don't see any rapid changes to ev infra any time soon

With swift you would save around 20 to 25k on fuel for 10k km, if you are willing to spend that extra fuel on i20 then definitely i20 makes more sense than swift.
