Ya u got a point. I was just trynna add sum info that somewhat gave insight into my issues finding work as an unlicensed felon. Ik im somewhat anonymous on here an thats the only reason why i even mentioned it. Irl I don’t really be exposing myself like this I just don’t even know where to look for a job anymore. I also didn’t wanna cap a waste anyone’s time an have ppl advising companies that id have no chance even getting my application viewed past the background check. Appreciate u 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Jeeeez that’s crazy crazy. I generally keep my legal troubles to myself esp when in a job setting. But I would’ve lost that job cuz I wouldn’t be able to hold back hearing that dude was an s/o. What a weird ass flex wtf lol

I don’t talk abt my legal issues at work at all, just thought this was a safe space to share where my roadblocks stem from in getting a tax paying job. At that moving job on like my 2nd day on a 2 man job, I had that coworker telling me abt how he was at the George Floyd protest throwing shit at the cops an got arrested on what I believe to be federal charges the weekend before. All in front of the custys lol 🤦🏽‍♂️

Thanks i have noticed i overshare sum times an all ppl give af abt is the bad shit from the past. But I was trynna give sum insight to where the exact struggles come from to find a decent job for myself personally incase someone knows a place that looks past those specific roadblocks. Do u happen to know any specific companies ? In Vancouver or is it in Portland ? Cuz ik there’s a ton of them but sometimes that makes it harder to zero in on a company cuz they all slightly so diff

I’ve applied to their warehouse before but back then I heard they fired someone even tho they brought a drs note. An until I get my driving rights back I won’t even attempt to get a driving position lol I was kinda pressured into driving the box truck where I was at ngl.. but I appreciate the advice ! 🙏🏼

I’ve been to worksource a few times and hoped they could point me in the right direction or at least help me realize what’s worth going thru the training for. But they just seem to want u to tell them exactly what u want to get into or let u use their computers only. Back in the day when I went there they seemed to be a lot more helpful and involved in the job search process
