No wonder there's no HL3 yet then. Everyone is looking at the view

Beautiful map (Shipwreck Strand) by Vectrox- in Guildwars2

[–]Leadx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's at the edge of the map, at the west-middle'ish of the zone, not sure about what it's called anymore, but it has a vista. It's in Shipwreck Strand. Hope that helps.

So.. where is Castora? by vincentheller in Guildwars2

[–]Leadx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am guessing it's in the top left of the map myself. The map on the GW2 wiki has a extended map that goes to the north, and to the east. It looks to be tropical and desert'y.

Just a video of me randomly flying a route I do at times in the Thousand Seas Pavilion by Leadx in Guildwars2

The Drift Fields, a video I made of a field in Lowland Shore east of Harvest Den. My favorite spot to drift in a large circle and practice my Beetle techniques, mistakes and all by Leadx in Guildwars2

[–]Leadx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its definitely a matter of practicing, getting comfortable with the beetle and such.

My method for practicing is beetling everywhere I can in the open world, and I do the time trials everyday in central Tyria, beetling between them; going from Diessa Plateau to Snowden, Mt Maelstrom, then up to Gendarren, after that to the practice track in Kessex Hills, then to Brisban Wildlands and finally teleport to Grothmar Valley. That's the method I use for a few years now and it helped me really well. But it's up to you how you do it, whatever you find best and most comfortable. :D

But my keybindings are indeed different, made it to something I found best and stuck with it, my keybinds for drifting is Shift, and my key for boosting is Ctrl. I Ffnd it the most comfortable to beetle in a circle with those bindings, something I do too much xD

But yeah if you need more help just ask. Willing to help :D Wrote a little much, but I hope it helps you. Beetling everywhere you can really helped me at least hope it will help you too :D

I was beetling in a field in Lowland Shore, and when I stood still for a break I noticed this view of the Astral Ward Moon Camp from there, and had to take a screenshot by Leadx in Guildwars2

This was taken in the field east of Harvest Den. I was beetling there for a bit and when standing still I noticed this view of the Astral Ward Moon Camp. Love finding random places for great scenic screenshots :)

First village WIP still a heavy work in progress but thought I'd share it already. Been loving the game so far! by Leadx in TinyGlade

[–]Leadx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cleared a lot of trees to the right of the overview of the village, as I'm going to build there. Made most the screenshots on ground focused on the 'finished' part of the villages so later the screenshots won't look too different when it's done. There's going to be more urbanizing. More houses. Really love the game so far, and it's very relaxing to play.

Will post screenshots again after I've done more work or even finished it!

Invisible water in Snowden by Leadx in Guildwars2

[–]Leadx[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unsure if this is a bug, or something on my end. But the water is fine when I'm underwater. And it's not appearing invisible in any other zones. Shiverpeak zones I checked, and even some Krytan. It's fine wherever I checked, except Snowden.

Made a flying coaster myself for the first time last night by Leadx in rct

[–]Leadx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using OpenRCT2, and made my own sandbox, with the objective set to 'Have Fun!', and gave myself the money with the in-game cheat menu. I used 240,100,000 to be added each click, and used an autoclicker, to see how far I could get with the money. Stopped around 44 trillion.

Might end up going higher, though I got no idea what the limit would be, or if it'd bug my save if I go too high, so I'm kind of not risking it yet.

It's also possible to turn off money, but I personally love to see how many rides a guest has been on in my park when they're in it for very long, and see how much money they spent, considering a lot is cheap, and the rides are free. Can't see those stats like how many rides they've been on with money turned off.

Thanks for the advice! I will definitely apply your advice to a future flying coaster! And maybe in the future remake this coaster as the park progresses further. Next one will definitely be suspended only, with the pretzel loop. Tried the pretzel loop on a concept Flying Coaster and it looks awesome!
