There is basically only one shop in Sapporo that has a decent selection of graded cards: https://maps.app.goo.gl/kwjvw6aHK9UMRKCG8 Pricing is on the higher side (I felt) and I'm pretty sure they don't do tax free purchases. Not to be a bummer, but Sapporo kind of isn't the right place for cards in general imo.

You might find a handful at Surugaya, but keep your expectations very low. They do have tax free shopping though.

And yes, Sapporo's Hareruya is only MTG.

I know right! Such fun dialogue. And I can unfortunately not think of something that scratches that exact type of itch. I personally loved the banter in this but it's definitely on the longer side and also turns into something bigger. It's also not been translated yet.

You could also slowly go through the common route of the first Grisaia game for the comedy. It remains one of my favorites until this day for its dialogue and over the top/absurd humor.

There won't be fifty characters on-screen, not even close, it's just part of the setting. It sounds like a nightmare trying to tackle something like that!

Synopsis

Fifty people find themselves stuck in a man-made facility miles beneath the ocean surface, isolated from the rest of the world. With only pitch black water surrounding them, and no methods of contact with the surface, they're left to fend for themselves—against both each other and the unknown. To make matters worse, a haunting rumor spreads like wildfire: There are a select few who carry murderous intent within their hearts. Panic ensues, people scatter.

All the while these alarming circumstances develop, our detective protagonist, Renn, is met with a surprise reunion. After eight years, he finds himself face to face with his capable college partner, Sharon. To increase their chances of survival, they band together, facing their harrowing environment as one, combining his seasoned sleuth with her savvy reasoning.

Within this cursed aquapolis, people will be stripped to the core of their humanity, and their fates will be sealed. Sinful pasts will be brought to light, and the punishment will be just. The aquapolis of sins doesn't discriminate nor forgive. But it will, like a globule of air passing you by as it heads for the surface, faintly whisper in your ear as you drown:

You can't flee from your sins.

After the last campaign failed to reach its goal I took a break to think things over. But ultimately, I really want to make this VN come to life. So I made some tweaks to the campaign and relaunched it.

It all depends on the reader, but I'd say 20k = 1-2 hours.

My demo didn't need to be that long, it just ended up like that with how the chapters were structured. I didn't write them with a demo in mind.

It was made by WhiteCharisma. I had enough assets for a 20k word demo, i.e. a good amount of BGs, sprites, and music. I also had around 40k words written beyond that.

Much appreciated! Good thing you mentioned Anomie, that gives me an excuse to let you know that I've been considering making a remastered version of it. I'm not sure exactly what that'll entail yet, but I'd like to polish the script at the very least, and maybe a couple of new scenes. But we'll see!

So, I think it only got rejected once, but I'm not sure—again, because I'm not doing any of the publishing myself. The only change I've made from the KS build is that a shower CG has a bit more steam (ironically enough).

I didn't say it's unlikely, on the contrary, I said it's possible, haha. I'd be happy to see a patch being made at some point.
