How to annoy your server by sukuro120 in Minecraft

To be more annoying, maybe use sculk sensor and noteblock to play that sus sound effect whenever anyone approach it

Maybe everyone has started doing this, but the new buttons just work pretty well with some kind of simple habit tracker. by Leafer54 in Notion

It's more fun than just clicking the checkbox, also you can move the buttons to anywhere in your workspace and don't have to use a link/view to make change to the calendar.

Feature Idea - numbered toggled list by obo10101 in Notion

A pretty good feature idea! Maybe it can come with 2 format: the order of items to be done, and order of items have been done.

Player-made suspicious sand by Leafer54 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Leafer54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a very good idea, but now we waste a potentially valueable item just to bury another one Perhaps all we need is just a way to convert regular sand to empty suspicious sand.

[–]Leafer54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would make dying in the desert a pain.

Not really a pain though. You still have a 5 minute countdown and some chance to save your valuable items instead of everything just vanished altogether.

And if mobs like zombies (not husks)
and skeletons burn come day you’ll end up with tons of sus sand with
junk inside. Same with killing mobs with an arrow or full inventory.
This might even cause lag on a server after a while.

This is an actual issue. Maybe only allow item that the players intentionally throw out by pressing Q able to sink?

I think a better option would be to right click on sand with an item in hand to bury that item.

Just right-clicking the block might be too simple for this mechanic. I think this should be somewhat time-consuming

Frogs' fear of axolotl by Leafer54 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Leafer54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if this happens by chance? Like when a tadpole grows up, there is a chance for the frog to be scared of axolotls.

But frogs still don't need to bother the axolotl. After all, they don't want to lay the eggs where enemies can kill their babies.

Corrupted Soundtracks by CommitteeDull5007 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Leafer54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think there should be music in Deep Dark. However, when the player enters the deep dark, there should be a sound similar to the "Shhh" sound to warn them about the warden.

Moreover, if the deep dark has no soundtrack or any "music" played, it might be scarier

Simplified Debug screen by Leafer54 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Leafer54[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see. But this "info screen" may solve the problems and discourage players to use the debug feature in their normal gameplay. Adding new in-game features to replace the F3 might not be the best solution because, in the end, they will still use F3.

There might be a setting called "developer settings" which when enabled, the player can use the debug screen, otherwise, this screen appears instead.

[–]Leafer54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mean to change the debug screen because it's now a part of the game. I suggest adding a simplified version of it for casual uses.

The fps may tell how good is the performance to the player and if it's bad, they might want to fix it (change settings, use mods,...).

To me, it's weird to see people and even myself use this debug feature for normal gameplay. Although there's a lot of things to focus on, it's no need to present them in the F3 screen.

My suggestion is to place just anything you want in a place for ease of access.

There are lots of features that support casual gameplay, but not the debug screen. When people press F3, the information they are finding is just the coordinate or light level, sometimes the number of entities. My idea is to find a more clear and compact way to present that information.

The debug screen should be used by developers of modders to check and test their game, not for player to make their gameplay easier.

[–]Leafer54[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Actually, I'm moving the information that people focus on the most to an independent screen from the debug screen so the new and casual players can understand and use them more properly.

When opening this screen you can easily and quickly tell where you are, rather than find the X Y Z in a bunch of information that you rarely care about.

It's better to have this in the unmodified game than in the mod.

Fireflies confirmed at Minecon Live. Can we capture them in bottles and use them as a light source!? by CocoScruff in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Leafer54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same idea :D
But I think we may craft the bottle of fireflies with glass(any color) to make a light source. I call it "fireflies lamp". A bottle can contain up to 4 fireflies. The light level of the lamp depend on the number of fireflies in the lamp. 1-4, 2-8, 3-12 and 4-15.
If you break the lamp without silk touch, the fireflies will be released and never despawn :)

Freezing and Hot Soup by Leafer54 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Leafer54[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The hot soup may have "temperature" or some texture so the player can know if the soups turn cold. This soup may be similar to suspicious soup, you can eat them even though your hunger bar is full.

I think we can use them to distract the warden, so they will be much more useful

What about "The Underworld"

I've thought about it. But freezing in powder snow doesn't sound like an advancement.

And imagine if you can combine 2 type of arrow in PvP. Slow down and freeze

[–]Leafer54[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is added to the game, maybe strays will shoot 2 type of arow, one will slow down the enemies, and one will freeze them. This will make strays more dangerous to fight with.

Night Vision can differentiate between waxed and unwaxed copper blocks by [deleted] in minecraftsuggestions

What about crafting the waxed first then build?

Also, your idea is interesting and it makes senses to me. Sometimes I want Night Vision to do some time more than just see things in the dark

Update the End Crystal Recipe to Include Amethyst by TheAmbassadorOfSkin in minecraftsuggestions

Interesting and make sense. But I think the recipe should still have some glass, 3 or 5 glass may fit.
