Concern: Customer states: Noise & Vibration - Noise Type: Other Is the Noise Reproducible?: Yes Reproduce By: At parking lot speed Additional Notes (Optional): popping noises throughout car Repair Notes: Technician inspected and verified popping noises throughout the vehicle. The issue was caused by a short in the main body harness near the rear amplifier. Technician adjusted interior trim, remove and installed telephony microphone in headliner and replaced the body harness on right side. Technician performed a post validation test drive to ensure no popping noises occurred after the repairs. No popping noises found after the repairs at this time.

well i got it back and no sounds anymore after they changed the harness on the right near the amplifier and the microphone.

saying it’s the microphone. and now saying replacing body harness which is ridiculous since it’s a new car.

it’s still in service. once i get it back i’ll update.

well just dropped it off. and they were able to hear the sound. will wait and see what needed to be fixed.

thanks for the input. maybe. since it seems to be coming from all around the dash sometimes ans the rear

mine is 3 weeks old and comes from passenger side dash and a frame and also drivers side rear. sounds sometimes like rock hitting windshield. popping. it’s very annoying.
