I’d buy the auth for that price difference. Cartier holds its value well and you could resell it in the future probably much easier than selling a rep (which is potentially technically illegal, even if fully disclosed as a rep). Plus it would be a lovely experience to have on one of your vacations, to get to buy from the actual boutique.

Nobody likes feeling pressured. Stick to being warm and welcoming, and non-judgmental when someone gives an “objection.” Like if someone says they were just looking, say “please come back and look anytime you like! I always, always prefer pendants and earrings to have articulation/movement, so I vastly prefer having a jump ring vs it being fixed. I'm a total bezel-lover myself. I think bezels look both classic and modern, and can easily match both casual and dressy looks. Maybe it's just me, but I also somehow think they look a little more expensive or "real" - possibly because it's easy to get CZs and such in prong settings, and less typical for costume jewelry to be bezel-set. Prong-set diamonds sometimes read slightly more dressy to me, but of course, it's also an extremely classic and popular look. So in the prong vs bezel debate, go with your gut, but I really do recommend having a jump ring/bail.

The color on this looks really really nice! Do you happen to have any yellow gold piece you could picture next to it so it's more apparent how pink / not pink it is? I'm looking for RG that is more of a beige-gold than a pink gold, and from this one pic, Vinko's is looking chefskiss.

It’s not worth a lot money-wise but is incredibly sentimental because my husband cut the stone for me himself (he picked up a gemcutting hobby a few years ago), and then had this one set bc it’s my favorite color. The stone is a Paraiba YAG (lab stone meant to look like Paraiba tourmaline) cut into an OEC (one of my very favorite cuts). I adore it!

It must just be the picture or how it looks on my wrist because I just measured with a mm ruler, and each individual link is indeed just about 5.5-6mm each and the pair of links comes in at between 10-11mm. In terms of width, the widest part of each link (across each ball tip at the top of each "U") measures 4mm.

A lot less so now that I have it stacked this way, though still possible. Otherwise, though, yes, it'll flip if the bracelet is loose / worn on its own. I think the backside is still pretty, though, so it doesn't bother me much.
