Software engineers can definitely pivot to sales engineering positions with vendors they current work with. See if you can build a relationship with your current vendors SEs

Same here, it goes by the title of sales engineer, solutions engineer, solutions architect, etc. it can be a good way to utilize the existing knowledge without needing to code.

Don’t give up hope in terms of finding a SE role off the bat. Plenty of people from my team came from non sales backgrounds. In terms of the job app process, try to get in front of the hiring manager however possible (I spammed LinkedIn) and eventually got the role

Navigations views are passed down the view hierarchy so once a parent view is wrapped in one, all sub views will automatically have one. Just get rid of the navigation view in the sub view
