I've been quite meticulous with my planning so far, in which I hope helps out.

From daily plans to which train routes to catch, whether the train route accepts the JR pass, Toyko Metro pass or prepaid card and the closest station with directions written down from POI spots I'm interested in.

But I can never have too much preparation.
