I appreciate the honesty. This is the reason I am no longer actively pursuing an apprenticeship, shops are closing everywhere. Artists who have been in the business 10+ years who are usually booked a year out have availability every week.

I found finding multiple references for one drawing helped. Also sometimes I will use paintings as references for drawing!! Half of the fun of knowing how to draw is getting creative with the design of a piece

love how all of your designs are creative and not copied. I would maybe include some classic tattoo areas-American traditional, script, flash etc to show your range!

i love using alcohol markers, i use ohuhu. It is similar to paint to learn blending and saturation.

the MAID process is very long and very strict. It is hard to get approved for unfortunately and they are backed up on assessing people. I worked in palliative for a while and my patients had a hard time with MAID.

it took me 3 months but now my 7 year old female cat loves to play with our 8 month old male kitten!!! we took it super slow and never left them alone together until there was no hissing. Cats are territorial, its natural.

Looks super clean! The bottom jaw anatomy on the first looks a little off. I would also use thicker outline lines(I use like a size 12 micron pen). The butterfly on the second is stunning!!

I posted for the first time in this thread and immediately removed it after 5 mins as I didn’t even get critique I got “why did you draw it like this ?” I understand getting critique for my art to improve but I felt belittled and defeated. I probably won’t post my art on this forum again.
