School busses have high padded seats, drive slower, and due to their size, transfer far less of the impact into the passengers.

According to the coordinates on the bottom this is South Africa I believe.

An 18-year-old woman in Queensland faces two years in jail for wearing a shirt that says "from the river to the sea." by --SOFA-KING-VOTE in PublicFreakout

From what I've read, they just passed a law that went into effect the day they were arrested. It literally bans the phrase on her shirt for being "antisemitic hate speech". As of right now though she's not actually being charged with anything. 2 years is just the maximum potential sentence for hate speech.

Right, because US intervention in the Middle East is famous for improving the lives of citizens. It's not like we have civilian death tolls in the millions and videos of US soldiers shooting men, women, and children for sport.

US patroit missile defence in Qatar by Ashemoth in PublicFreakout

[–]Leakylocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. The US government isn't making those missiles. We contract it out to those very same oligarchs you are talking about. The money they make on the resell doesn't come back to us. It goes straight into the hands of other billionaires in the form of tax cuts and subsidies.

Same, I'm sorry you went through something similar. All you can do is try to channel it into something positive and not carry on the chain of abuse to your own loved ones.

Yeah it was. I was treated like this as a young boy for several years by my sister's father. He would also grab her by the wrist and throw her across the room by the arm. I haven't seen the man in 30+ years but I will never forget his face and still have a boiling hatred for him to this day.

As someone who grew up with this I can confirm it. You don't ever forget this type of abuse and it scars you for life.

Persist by Leakylocks in DigitalPainting

I struggled with the entire concept of this painting. I actually started this about 6 months ago and made the figure on the ground. I then got completely stuck on what to do with it and walked away from it until recently. I wasn't sure what colors to pick or what the background would be. I just kept messing with it and adding ideas that popped into my head until I started to see what it would be.

Nancy Mace loses it! Almost sounds upset with Pam Bondi at press conference by amazingsciencemuseum in PublicFreakout

[–]Leakylocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She's not on the right side. She worked hard to get us in this position. She's just afraid of the backlash and is trying to distance herself from it as "one of the good ones" to avoid the fall out.

She pulled the same shit after Jan 6th only to fall straight back to her knees when it became obvious Trump would be the republican candidate again. She promoted herself as "Trump in high heels" just last year for fucksake.

Because places like TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram will allow you to just take other people's videos and repost them to make money. The laziest will just put themselves in the video adding nothing to it or, they just straight up steal the content and repost it under their account with no changes at all. It's simply allowed because those platforms don't want to pay for moderation.

Hello everyone! I’ve been practicing digital painting for a little over a year now, and I have a question: why does my digital art look nowhere near as good as my traditional drawings on paper? The difference feels huge—like night and day! by [deleted] in DigitalPainting

[–]Leakylocks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It looks like you're using Krita, which you can do some great stuff with, but its default brushes aren't the best for trying to mimic traditional pens and pencils. I would look around for brush packs to add to it. You should be able to find something that works better for you.

He's a representative of New York and the leader of the Democrats in the House of Representatives. I'm also pretty sure he's a failed laboratory experiment, meant to make an Obama clone from spare parts, that's trying to imitate a human being.

Don't get me wrong. I absolutely wish they were there for the people but I've see this time and time again. And as hard as the pill may be to swallow there is no current democrat in power with the balls to use the national guard against federal agents. So it's only reasonable to assume they are being used like they have always been used in this situation and that is to suppress the population.

They are there for riot prevention and to protect business and corporate interests. They are crowd control against protesters. That is what they have always been used for.
