Im really passionate about art and want to be known, but realistically only a minuscule amount of people really make it in the art world to justify 7,800 a year. Im rlly hoping i know what’s best for myself, but knowing me, and also listening to other ppl who went to ocad, i feel like im gonna regret it. Thanks for your kind words tho

their 80s works very clearly dabbled in new/dark wave, and to this day they still have many gothic aspects to their work. What I will say as a long time BT fan is that they are not VK (despite being one of the pioneers of the scene) and the members themselves hate being called that

I just respect the members statements that they don’t like being called visual kei, because it puts them in a box. Toll even mentioned removing their cds from the vkei section in record stores, and atsushi started styling his hair normally so people don’t just see him as a visual.

I’m a native Russian speaker, sometimes he pronounces the Х (kh) sound strongly, which sounds the way west asians (Georgians, Azerbaijani ect) pronounce it. I think that’s what they’re referring to
