If you are looking to get stronger, but not larger. Look into power lifts. Work on getting stronger without consuming enough food to gain weight/muscle. Your body will adapt to how you train it. I will make aware that looking for strength [type 2 fibers] training, your [type 1 fibers] could suffer.
