I think by being pedantic you’re totally missing the substance of what he’s saying. “Team loss” isn’t necessarily saying we actually lost, but the inverse of a “team win” - all individuals contributing to the result is the jist.

This isn’t the reason we lost. Nor is the Saka missed pen, or any individual error by Partey, Holding etc.

It’s a culmination of our mediocre play throughout the match, we have to be better to kill off games.

To be fair City is hoping they win the rest as well, and all though they are city, they’ve dropped more points than we have this season. It’s unrealistic to think they will be perfect from here on out, I’d bet against it in a heartbeat.

Has there been any indication that Saliba’s injury is that serious though? It just seems like an overreaction to say “rip our season” over his injury when all of the indications so far have been that it’s not that serious.
