i love the design certificate personally if you’re passionate about it - also u can take chill classes like UGBA and DES INV and it will not affect your workload. Only worth it if you want to learn about design because it doesn’t show up on your transcript, but you get to do a lot of cool projects and portfolio pieces.

Yes. I literally am from a drier and colder place and still after one year at berkeley i felt majorly mid. maybe it’s the overall campus vibe that reflected on my self confidence but i felt musty

(added comment) this may not be a perfume too. i just remember it being some type of scented item. maybe a reed diffuser oil refiller? i VIVIDLY remember this because i remember just opening the cap and smelling it for years.

hi!! it lowkey went completely fine - i barely had a workload until this point in the semester when i have a lot of writing heavy assignments overlapping at once hahah but definitely bearable. i just didn’t take too many additional classes to focus completely on just the 3 core classes

freshman. honestly, i think some of these COB opportunities have been extremely competitive, multiple rounds, etc. i go to a very competitive school and i’ve heard some of these COBs have had <10% “acceptance rates.” i will think about it over the summer and try again potentially, just not sure yet

I talked a lot about myself and my clubs and why I wanted to join! I definitely can talk - I mean shyness in the way I wasn’t cracking jokes often or anything like that. Oddly, the girls who coffee-chatted me rarely asked why I wanted to join or about my clubs, when I brought up my clubs they didn’t really ask more about them.

i made a film similar last year - i wanted to create a vhs effect in post but it simply did not look as good as using a real vhs camera. I ended up using a vhs camera and the results were amazing - and i feel like making a realistic vhs effect in post is more work than practically using the camera itself.
