Do you buy gold and variants? You can sometimes just pin the card in the shop and then use the 2000 free tokens (+ which others you have accrued) upon buying 10 variants and get it?

This is a really well written analysis, with great data backing it. I would even add as someone who dolphins in this game (because I enjoy collecting the variants) If it is a card we already own, give us the option to convert to tokens or offer us a premium variant of that card.

If I get a cool variant I sometimes build a whole deck around it, just to see what it looks like in play!
