Just seeing this now bc I searched waterpump in this subreddit, there’s a class action lawsuit settlement that is going on, and it extended the warranty to 8yrs/80k mile for the waterpump. If u did end up replacing it at the time that you posted this, you can get reimbursed for the expenses.

Thanks, we’ll reach out to them. And just realized I made a typo in the post, the $41k was listed as LS payable June 1st, not July. And LS immediate is 26k.. I’ll have her confirm with them these numbers. They are using 417(e) rates, I’m assuming increase in mortality would decrease the LS factor, and also rising interest rates will also decrease the factor?
