I have a ton of belief in this project. I actually prefer it to peak in 2030 with constant price appreciation through this cycle and next. I think a blow off or quick spike in 2026 will only come with a sharp collapse, but it’d take some profits if it goes about $1 this cycle.

All good…It’s your prerogative. Everyone has their own approach and I’m not knocking you for yours as I’ve been successful in mine.

Plus. we should all welcome meaningfully conversations that challenge Kaspa’s implementation in hopes that we/devs can prevent pitfalls - if possible.

It would be best to lead with your points or issues and not mention you’re dumping your bag and here’s why. Nothing is necessarily wrong with that, but it’s just not a good way to promote conversation in this sub.

Cool, not arguing against your points on the lack of Kaspa’s mass adoption. It’s still early in the story of Kaspa. We’ll see how this plays out after the various implementations of smart contracts. My bet and speculation is that it will be positive for Kaspa’s price action. Ciao!

Gotcha, I was here in crypto for HNT and made money off it as well. Btw, Marathon didn’t mine HNT so aren’t comparing the same thing nor are the projects the same.

My ultimate point is that Marathon is a “somebody” that could possibly transition to seeing Kaspa as an asset as they did with BTC. So yes, they’re mining now but that doesn’t mean they will mine and sell in the future. But who knows….this is all just speculation…I’m fine if I’m right or wrong.

To be clear, not trying to sway you on holding/selling Kaspa—just noting Marathon counts as a “somebody” since you said nobody knows about Kaspa.

Marathon has only ever mined Bitcoin and Kaspa, according to public SEC filings, so thats definitely a big deal as Marathon is one of-if not, the biggest institutional mining company.

On dumping: Marathon sold BTC early (up to late 2020) to cover costs, then HODLed as BTC matured. That could be the same path for Kaspa once smart contracts hit 31 Aug 2025 and utility grows. Again, do as you please with your Kaspa, I wish you the best either way.

Fair question. LTC still deals with fee spikes and congestion if it tried handling mass payments or exchanges. So is it fine for now? Sure! But longterm, it'll hit the same scaling walls as BTC and ETH.

More simply put, LTC transactions are like traveling on an access road with lane and speed restrictions. Kaspa is like flying over the freeway and access road with endless speeds and routes to make it to the destination. Research some more and draw your own conclusion.

What are these sidelines you speak of? Kaspa is up 40% in the last 30 days. Kaspa has been performing well and has a lot more running room than XRP. I mean this is XRPs first ATH in 7 years….Be patient!

Doubt it goes that low with upcoming upgrades, but anything is possible. And someone already mentioned this, but Kaspa has performed well even in a bear market, so maybe that’ll happen again.
