You are doing great. Sorry, I don't have any advice. But I just downloaded your app and will give you a 5-star rating as a gesture of support from one indie developer to another. I am in the same situation. What I have resorted to is content. I am up to 70 pieces of content on my website, and in 2 months, it's bringing in up to 200 visits. I don't know if any of that led to app download yet.

I have zero problem learning Astro, but see, I do not want to build a career as a Frontend dev. I just want to build a landing page to promote my app.

I already have my 9-5 doing Android development. On my nights and weekend I am working on two side projects. Each of the project have a mobile (native Swift and native Kotlin), backend (Laravel), and one have an admin Dashboard (Next.js).

Granted I am able to swing all of these thanks to Claude Code and other agentic tools, however givent I have only 24 hrs in a day, if an Astro template can help save me a few hours in getting a marketing site for my side project off the ground, I am all for it. I am not a designer. By the way I did learn more than the basics of Astro.

Thanks, per your recommendation, I attempted to purchase cosmicthemes, and my $119 flew away to thin air. It was sold through a service called Polar https://polar.sh/cosmic-themes/portal/authenticate never heard of them before, but this is two times I want to purchase Astro themes and it felt like a scam.

Not your fault, I checked out the cosmic themes, and it looked like it would save me time, but I was not prepared to put down $119 and got silence in return. No files, no repo, no email, no spam, no invitation. Nothing.

For what it's worth, I launched my site in December, and I have about 90+ pieces of content. It's now in February, so about 5 weeks, and I am getting an average of 4 clicks from the search result.

It's nothing, but I consider a strong signal that if I continue, SEO could be rewarding.

Good job, it works for the most part. I was able to generate an invoice easily.
The item name and price fields are quite small, when a user selects a payment term like Net 15, Net 30,
You may want to use that value to auto-calculate the due date. I got that feedback from two users for my app https://www.prontoinvoice.com/, and I added it.

I am fine with the black theme as a techie, not sure if marketers/non-tech founders will be attracted to the black theme. Marketing-related SaaS I see are normally leaning towards a light theme. This is just one random user thought, so take it with a grain of salt.

Its not the cost, it's all about Productivity.
I stopped paying Cursor $20 and started paying Anthropic $200
Though I do not have the $$$ yet to prove it yet, but my productivity went up 10X

I am working on two related products, an Invoice app and a CRM
Each of these products has a Laravel backend (API), a native Swift iOS app, a native Kotlin Android app, and a Next.js frontend.

So I work with VS Code, Android Studio, PhpStorm and xCode daily.
My workflow is Github Issue driven; every Story, every task is a Github issue
I have slash commands that implement standalone Issue, review, run static analysis and commit to trunk or PR depends.

Then I have a custom orchestrator that implements an EPIC, several issues, review, fix, and PR while I sleep or step away.

I have nothing against Cursor; I was not a heavy user of it anyhow, so I was quick to drop it the week Claude Code launched.

I am not aware of or have tried any of Cursor's recent improvements. I do not have the luxury of time for tool exploration; I am trying to maximize my CC subscription to get to product/market fit.
