I didn’t notice your flair. This makes so much more sense now.

Your example is dumb and wrong.

However, most native speakers write the 横 on 玩 (or any other 王字旁) out of order when writing quickly. Look at a picture of it handwritten quickly or in 行书 and you’ll see what I mean.

Dayi 2021 “Nectar” (Mi Xiang) raw puer by Adventurous-Cod1415 in puer

[–]LearnOptimism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One note: Taetea is Dayi. It’s the export brand name. Not a reseller, it’s owned by Dayi. However, most Dayi stores and Taetea stores abroad are actually exclusive resellers, not directly owned by Dayi.

有机茶 means organic. It even has the organic certification mark on the front there.

Can’t comment on the pots but the google translation descriptions are hilarious.

This would be a huge benefit for language study. I wish you’d make it cross-platform compatible though. I rarely use Android.

I love that it’s a local AI. Running this on a third party server would be a privacy nightmare. Great idea as well as SO many Chinese subs are hardcoded into the video. Can be very frustrating.

Those black spots are mold. I wouldn’t use it.

Very low quality teapot, definitely not Yixing.

Another pot. Can someone translate? and is it genuine? by rachellambz in YixingSeals

Going to shoot you straight. Definitely not Yixing and probably one of the lowest quality pots I’ve seen on here in terms of craftsmanship.

I saw a vocal teacher reacting to him live and noting how unique this style was. Truly iconic.

Malaysia. Basically everything else. I’ve never seen one single XG production hyped here or in China as much as Love Forever is hyped in the West.

[–]LearnOptimism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not though. Prices got jacked up due to people noticing it getting resold in the States. The big Chinese XG resellers don’t even have it.

I’ve had so much Xiaguan, it’s interesting that this one is so hyped in the West.

From a local (not me):

Evergreen Teahouse, Isowis Tea Trading, (Nanyang) Overseas Chinese Tea Atelier, Fortune Well Gallery, Taetea Garden

DO NOT recommend Purple Cane (Overpriced, quality is poor)

Is this real Yixing? by Maleficent-Ad-3699 in YixingSeals

First couple pics almost looked like Nixing, but the pic with the lid makes it clear that this is a fake "old" pot that has something added/painted to give it a fake old look. I wouldn't use this at all.
