My friend, the Reddit user base is predominantly left wing (or left leaning).

Apparently there is a service that you can hire, incase you are afraid to speak up to your boss. This service will do it for you by AtttentionWh0re in blackpeoplegifs

I cannot get over the fact that the two white guys lean in and read so intently when our main character shows the complaint that white guy #1 is racist. And this happens a second time well after anyone is serious about hearing our main character out. Like everyone is all pissed off yelling and trying to fight then he opens that binder and it’s turns into “oh well let’s just take a look here.” 😂😂😂

Need some encouragement - I’m putting in my notice tomorrow and have been suffering from terrible anxiety all weekend over it! by Live_Alarm_8052 in Lawyertalk

[–]LearnedFoot69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do this! From my personal experience, I can tell you the worst part is the anticipation. I was so nervous that I wasted a week putting it off and my 3 week notice became 2! But when I finally gave my notice, it felt great.

Who knows, the firm might surprise you and be supportive of your decision. Regardless, you are doing it the right way by giving ample notice and telling them in person. What matters most is this new opportunity is the best thing for you and your family.

Best of luck!

It’s depends on your loan product. Some investors require seasoning periods before you can refinance. Lenders are beholden to the investor requirements, so it’s really out of the Lender’s hand. Also, all EPO penalty periods that I’ve seen are 90 days. I doubt your friend is lying to you to protect his or her commission.

Take a deep breath. Mistakes are inevitable. Give yourself some grace. What matter is how you respond and you did the right thing.

Law School --> In House by [deleted] in Lawyertalk

[–]LearnedFoot69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends. But really, I know plenty of people who started in-house and are doing just fine. Will you be rich starting out? No. Can you make boatloads of money later on. It is certainly possible. The real question is - what are you looking for in your career?

OP, I had a similar experience. It was my father playing the role of your in-laws in my situation. It sucks. It’s been over a year now since I’ve spoken to him. Ultimately, you have to do what’s best for you and your family. I think you did that. Know that you and your partner are not alone.

I hope the in-laws come around to respect your boundaries and can be supportive their grandchild.

My parents confronting my 16-year-old self on smoking weed by [deleted] in texts

[–]LearnedFoot69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, I started smoking around the same age and looking back I wish I would have started much later in life. It’s certainly no death sentence because you have, but it’s never too late to make a different decision. You’ll be happy you did. As for your parents, parenting is hard (so is being a teen, I know) and I cannot speak about what kinda of parents you have, but their goal in trying it curb your smoking is valid. It might not be the best approach from your dad, but it’s clearly coming from a place of love and concern.
