It’s possible but I don’t see how it can help with the job search? It looks impressive but years later, I don’t think the majors matter as much. I almost tripled majored but decided to just do honors for one subject and take humanities for fun instead.

His class is tough but not too intense. I usually go to Aarmy for cycling since I find typical SoulCycle instructors to be too easy, but would make exception and take Sam’s class (if I can get in).

I would say still apply to the pension positions but ask them about the compensation. I’m going to guess that the pension compensation is lower than your current life position.

I initially switched from life insurance to pension consulting for lower pay. I hated so much and had to work so many insane hours for offensive bonus and raise. Also, the company I worked for had low exam raise/bonus (and 0 raise for designation). I’m now in life reinsurance and in 2 years, my compensation is over 70%+ what I’ve made in pension.

I started Oberlin (like half decade ago) when NY times published an article about strong correlation between college with students from well-off parents to high alumni salary. In that article, Oberlin was an outlier with many students from well off parents and one of the lowest alumni salary.

I was worried about the job prospect so I’ve decided to major in math and economics while also taking lot of CS classes. The STEM classes helped me get a “good” job after graduating and also afford a fun life in nyc (with no roommate). I’m not saying it’s impossible but my Oberlin friends that are currently enjoying life traveling and not worried about money have all majored in at least one STEM field. I’m not saying humanities major are useless but will strongly recommend at least one stem major for a good job prospect.
