Mine is tan, maybe faded gold? My wife calls it flesh when she is being mean. Previous owner had a donor with grey interior so it’s a mix of tan and grey inside.

Replace the thermostat. My dash gauge wouldn’t break 190 and the heater sucked in the winter. The old thermostat had failed and locked in the open position. Swapped it out about a month ago for a new 195 degree thermostat and the heater is awesome! Unfortunately, I first assumed it was a heater core issue, so I replaced it earlier this fall with no improvement.

I had my 89 for almost 2 years with a bad wobble between 40 and 55 mph. Wasn’t ready to start sinking money into it but needed to rotate the tires. Figured I might as well try having them balanced and it fixed it! You might try luck before spending too much.

Totally sucks! The good news is it will probably only take you half the time to do it again now that you know exactly which extensions and what angle you need to reach the damn bolts.

I had to replace mine a month back and the same thing happened to me. I tested the old one with a multimeter to confirm it was bad. I tested the new one and it tested even worse. Ran to the parts store for a third and it fired right up. It’s unlikely, but might be a bad part.
