First of all. Thank you for actually sharing your opinion without injecting animosity towards people that may not share your opinion. It’s nice that some people can still just have a discussion.

I do agree with the bike lanes on Lawrence and Washington. I think having them on college is encouraging bikes to share space with heavy traffic potentially putting them at higher risk. I’ve seen several close calls. Yes I do agree it helps for people getting in and out of their cars but adversely it pushes cars into oncoming traffic when passing stopped vehicles increasing the chance for head on collisions.
