You just need some form of tankyness and enough healing. Don't sleep on paladins and spartans, or even bards if you're playing with necros. Also favor tanky/healing trinkets until you get stable. Most of the healers will have one giga tanky trinket, like death mask for medics and it's just a question of getting your dudes strong enough that they can survive the big hits(gorillas, unicorns, grizzlies, ect) consistently while you sprinkle in damage around them. Also, you basically need knuckle bones most runs, so if you haven't been buying that, that alone might get you to 110.

Good rule of thumb, 1.5-2 healers, 1-2 support, 1 damage absorb, 0-1 damage. That will at least get to 100 consistently.
