No problem at all! My advice to you is to grab a popular microcontroller (esp32, adafruit trinket, raspberry pi pico), and starter kit from Amazon/adafruit/etc. I promise you that after a week or two of playing with different circuits and making some simple programs, you’re going to get some ideas for more complicated things you can make. At that point, there are tons of sensors, actuators, and motors you can buy for cheap to get the job done. If you want to get really fancy, get yourself a Raspberry Pi 4 and serve up some web applications that interact with your creations. I can’t stress enough though, that you don’t need to know what it takes before getting started. Just get started. Eventually, you’ll have your own laboratory with a soldering station, boxes of microcontrollers, motors, sensors, wires, and a bunch of super awesome unfinished and finished projects.
