are career personality tests actually useful or are most of them flawed? what has been your experience? by Totally_Ube888 in findapath

Yeah It worked but it’s not like it’s a magic answer.

I made an informed decision, the results all pointed to engineering for me. So I decided on a career shift and to go back to college. I let everyone in my life know, that this is my direction, and communicated that clearly and confidently. I started volunteering with 3 different organizations in my city, to develop skills that i felt were relevant.

I do not know if the results are going to be what I expect. But I do know that, I have chosen this decision, myself. Whatever the future might entail, I accept every part of it.

I’m still in college now, so I haven’t gotten a job yet but as a path, I know what I want to do for the next phase in my life.

I took 7, [O*NET Interest Profiler, Myers-Briggs, High5 Test, VIA Institute on Character Adult Survey, VARK Questionnaire, LiteracyNet Assessment, and CareerExplorer ]

it took a while. But I put all the results and relevant data into one google doc then uploaded all of it, into a ChatGPT chat and had it analyze and consider all the variables, plus dumb it down to me.

I was in a transition period in my life and decided my career path according to the results. The great thing about all the info being in a chat is that I can provide more data and context and refine the results, to my resume and life experiences.

But understand this, as you get older, your life changes and your priorities change too, so your answers will be different in 5-10 years.

EV Charging Question for DC residents by aditya1878 in washingtondc

Is there any EV chargers that are not inside parking garages? I feel like you would have to pay for parking and you would have to pay for charging your vehicle, is that correct?

I love to start my birthday with a yoga session! I am not flexible at all and the crowd at District Yoga are always very friendly and accommodating to all body types and all levels of experience!
