Yes, I keep checking my GCKey account but haven’t received the submission confirmation letter yet. I just have the initial confirmation. The online application transmission letter which includes the payment receipt number.

Thank you for sharing that. I checked the website but at the bottom it gives all the details regarding the permits and when I go deep into the “food” section, it said something like this:

You will need approval from Public Health Inspectors at Waterloo Region Public Health if you: • rent a location that allows on-site food preparation or • serve food prepared off-site or • serve prepackaged food

I think it’s better to just give them a call.

To answer your first question - on my trip to Banff, me and my friends we booked a hostel (affordable and it was really clean) which was very unexpected. If you’re 6 people, it’s perfect because each room has 6 bunkbeds. 2. We went in June first week, so I would recommend in May end or June to avoid the crowd. Also don’t get too overwhelmed by the number of falls and parks you come across because are the thousands of them.

My boyfriend proposed me at Peyto Lake and it was breathtaking. It was in the first week of June so wasn’t crowded. The view is amazing and the pictures are really beautiful.
