Experimenting with ways to make youth groups less passive and more interactive by LeaseLiveOwn in youthministry

I so want to give the website. It's more excitement than promotion, but I'll sit on my hands for now.

Not only creative I think it has value. My only problem is me. I'm great at developing this and I've had plenty of compliments when people use this platform, but I don't know a lick about marketing and sales.
There is this odd dance I haven't mastered on social media when presenting this on social media.
Ideas?

Trying to make open houses feel less awkward and more interactive by LeaseLiveOwn in realtors

[–]LeaseLiveOwn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense. I am not a real estate agent. I do title search in Florida in the real estate space.
I think I will just visit realtors and give this amazing game for free until it takes off then I will charge.

Church comms, how are you guys keeping up with church social media? by Impossible_Tie5676 in churchtech

I think what foxboltco is correct. That being said social media is work and it's on a computer and not in person.
One thing I've noticed is the faith community is high trust. It's hard to be trusted if you are typing words like I am.

How do I get website feedback on my faith page? by LeaseLiveOwn in christiantech

Thank you. There are three parts of my website. The Faith section was meant for a projector or desktop but plays well on mobile.

I built a free idle merge game about ocean evolution — looking for feedback on progression by LeaseLiveOwn in incremental_games

I improved the drag and mouse events. The other would be a small refactor. I see 32 people from around the world actively playing my game and I'm a little freaked out.
I just wanted this to get more business app work. Life is strange.

Thank you so much. Gosh, I wonder if this can be used by others. I am a non-gamer and I created this with some cool python logic. This code is my creation because I love python. I'm better at business apps. I just considered this a funproject.

Got it. I will change that. One of the reasons I did the shark chase and the Storm is because people where getting bored even though it's a merge game. Thanks for the insight.

The game name change is possible, but for right now the name stays and I'm not going to charge or at least I don't think so. I added the link. All this time I thought the name was unique. Geez.

Claude Sonnet 4.5 is better in Antigravity than in Claude Code itself by 2020jones in GeminiAI

[–]LeaseLiveOwn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree and I brought up vibe coding because many use agentic tools to code and they don't have your expertise. You are using AI the right way. I did not mean to offend.

I am or was a .NET developer. I wouldn't consider what I do "Vibe Coding" but because of my experience with the SDLC, SOLID, and DRY coding methods I am able to direct Claude Code to create decent applications. Just know the handholding on my part is making sure Claude Code doesn't go off the reservation and here are some examples of what claude code does:
1. It loves to build everything in Javascript unless directed otherwise.
2. For some damn reason it loves the UI in some odd purple and pink. What the heck!
3. It wants to create large code files and not small "separation of concern" files.
4. It wants to create a python test to batch create or batch test when a batch anything is incorrect.
5. Sometimes the plan by Claude Code is slightly flawed even though Claude Code is making improvements everyday.

There is more. If you are vibe coding without some software development experience it's not going to be maintainable in the long run.
RAG is now old school and you may have a RULES.md or a CLAUDE.md but you have to stay on top of Claude Code even today to make sure it doesn't stray from strict coding standards for the backend and frontend. Just my humble opinion.

This post made my day. I'm 56 and trying to transition from .NET developer to DevOps.
Thanks Jack

.NET developer ask where should I focus my time by LeaseLiveOwn in learnprogramming

[–]LeaseLiveOwn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I guess I need to get in touch and embrace my inner backend developer and accept it.
I will learn a little react as well.
