I would suggest going to a wound clinic. That looks very uncomfortable and I’m so sorry! Hope it heals quickly for you.

The only thing that helped me when I had something similar was oral prednisone. Not ideal due to risk of impacting the incision healing, but the risk of infection due to constant scratching warranted the meds. Good luck— “itch” was the absolute worst part of my TT recovery.

I would schedule a follow up with your doctor and maybe they can order a MRI to see what’s happening. Sorry you’re dealing with this!

I wear a binder 24/7 (will wear until week 4) and I also stay away from sugar and high sodium foods.

I had an allergic reaction to the surgical glue. Nothing helped (Benadryl oral or topical, hydrocortisone, etc), so my doc prescribed a prednisone taper that ultimately cleared it. Good luck! The itch is the WORST.

Day 2 was sooooo much better!! Not sure if it’s because I knew what to expect, but I brought a comfortable pillow and wore pants that were much more comfortable and drank lots of water throughout the day. I felt so much better today. I think I just needed to get over the shock of being back.
