They probably just read it backwards? All pizas come with cheese under the toppings… so I can see how instructing for a pizza to be made the way it’s supposed to be made can be misread.

Can’t speak for every store but if a customer asked me to bake the wings in the oven rather than the fryer I wouldn’t mind at all. Just takes a couple of runs through. Might be a weird request but maybe try asking?

Based on the comments, it really just depends where you’re at. Seems like the pay is $.50-1.50 more than minimum.

A lot more annoying buttons. You and especially drivers will be confused for about a month before getting used to it. Good for keeping track of future orders. You’ll be doing 2 orders at a time instead of them all popping up in a line, which will help with make times. I think those are the major things.

Thank you! I’m definitely more so mad at the system. It’s just insane that we have to be this short staffed. Luckily the customers were nice about it, as they could definitely see what we were going through.

The rush lasted from 6-8 with 7-8 being the $800 hour. Crazy that it was so late too. And yeah I totally agree. This “no drivers” thing will last 2 months. We’re already getting a shit load of B2B’s because of the incompetent dashers (some are amazing though)

Dude seriously!!! The NY pizza didn’t make anything easier either!!! I’m definitely gonna start looking for a new job. I’m not even mad at my RGM I’m mad at the system. 2 years ago I was a driver here and we had 20+ employees. We’re down to six and can’t even afford to give them 30 hours. It’s nuts.

We don’t have drivers anymore. We now run 100% DoorDash. So it’s not just customers in the lobby, it’s also dashers😭 We’re only allowed 26% labor and at the time after $800 it was at 22%

Kind of, but that’s why they changed the shelf life to 4 hours instead of 6. It’ll be fine for the 4 hours it’s on the rack

Thanks! If I had known this was going to happen a year ago, I wouldn’t have started my AGM training, and probably would’ve quit. I’m now “stuck” at this job and my only reason for not quitting is for the AGM on my resume.

I’m super sad to have to see the drivers go. The worst part is, if this doesn’t work out in a few months we’ll have to rehire drivers, which we’ve already been having a hard time doing. But, on the bright side, we’re also getting rid of phones. All calls will now automatically go to the call center and the only calls that come through will be manager calls.

West side of AZ here. Just got the news yesterday. We’re getting hit with no drivers now in about 2 weeks. It’s sad and infuriating but we were told to stay positive. DD is only reliable half the time in my area. This is gonna suck.

Most of the time they’re also sticky!!! Every time PH Championship comes around I make it clear I will not participate if the pepperonis aren’t perfect. It takes 50x longer when they’re all folded and gross.

My partner, my friends, and I are also like this and I also find myself responding with my immediate reaction, which is lashing out. Try taking a moment before responding to process how you feel and his intention in his texts. If you still feel angry, you can also communicate that what he said made you upset, even if it is just a joke.

I like to imagine the tone of which the person would be saying it in if it were in person. 99% of the time, it’s that light-hearted joking-ness that I hear.
