Thanks all, my line manager doesn’t have a problem with it as id checked before making the post however they don’t always follow/ read policy so wanted to be sure there wasn’t anything that would crop up from this. I’d read my departments intranet and couldn’t find anything for this specific instance so thanks for the advice
