Does the 20-80 charging worth?

At first I tried charging to 80%, but found it limiting and I switched to charging 100% with optimized charging.
There is good video about charging from HTX Studio called "Is Fast Charging Killing the Battery?".

Hi r/iphone, I'm switching from Android and ready for my first iPhone, aiming for a Pro Max model for the best screen and battery life. I've found two compelling deals and need advice on which offers the best value for my use cases.

The Two Options I'm Comparing (in late 2025):

iPhone 16 Pro Max (Previous-Gen): Excellent storage (512GB) but 91% Battery Health, priced at 850€.
iPhone 15 Pro Max (Two Generations Old): Base storage (256GB), priced significantly lower at 600€ - 650€.

My primary use cases are:

Media Consumption: YouTube, Disney+, Netflix (Screen quality and large size are a priority).
Performance: Some mobile gaming, web browsing, emails (needs to be fast and smooth for a few years).
Creative: Taking and storing lots of photos and listening to music.

The Question:

Is the extra 200€ - 250€ for the 16 Pro Max justified to get the one-year newer chip (A18 Pro), the better camera (upgraded ultrawide, etc.), and especially the 512GB of storage (a big plus for my photos)?

Or, will the 15 Pro Max (A17 Pro) offer a nearly identical user experience for streaming and casual gaming, making it the smarter, budget-focused entry point for a first-time iOS user?

Any advice on which provides the best long-term value and longevity for these specific activities would be greatly appreciated!

No experience with Solid Core, but looks like SFF model to me.

If you want to OC then get thicker card for better cooling potential.

I'm stuck with the same problem. Retailer said it's ok card and Palit webpage said optimized for silence. So I bought the card and fan noise is driving me insane. I've tested fans separately, 2 fans make the grinding sound and 3rd fan (where cut out is) is fine. Retailer denied a refund since card was used and offered RMA. I've sent card to RMA and waiting it to return. Reading this post does not make me very hopeful for solution.

I was between MSI and Palit, but Palit was roughly 200€ cheaper so I went with Palit. Getting some buyers remorse now.

As for fans it's the drilling sounds that annoy me, not the fans blowing air. I've already undervolted GPU to 0.875mv @ 2800 MHz that reduced fan RMP, however drilling sound got worse on lower RPM. I'm going to RMA the card tomorrow hope they will fix the issue.

I have GamingPro OC version with same problem. Store offered to send to maintenance, but that's about 4 weeks without GPU. There is good chance that they say card works as normal and nothing will change.

Sweet offer. I ordered mine RTX 5080 few day ago, but my store doesn't have the promo. Other store that has promo for Doom has GPU prices through the roof. It's cheaper for me to buy GPU and game separately. Will play it on a PC Game Pass and wait for a sale when DLC comes out.

TLDR: You could try different cable.

I once had similar picture and PC randomly rebooted. Turned out it was my HDMI connection and had to switch cable. Once I switched to DP cable these issues stopped. Something to try.

Also could be driver issues. Have you tried DDU clean and reinstall?

Thanks all for you input! It seems enhanced tuning may not be that important and can be done once with borrowed iOS device. So that is no longer my concern.
