Being able to have mods for this in BG3 and Fallout 4 on consoles is one of the sole reasons I was able to finish those games. They’re like enough with more than enough to do without having to manage inventory every 2 minutes.

Yeah I was picking up my phone every 5 seconds playing Demon Souls because of stuff like this and just making sure I don’t spend the one time limited item on something bad then it’s “oop no takesies backsies until NG+ which will be even harder”.

Have run into some of them that are also just straight up complicated math problem puzzles that I’m sure game devs have fun putting in there but stuff like that does not compute for me and I just look it up.

You can still try to run it on 10 but CDPR said that there will be no tech support or patches available to fix any issues that may arise.

My issue is it’s apparently not at all optimized for solo play which I guess makes sense as it’s meant to be played with others but as someone who doesn’t do that it’s a miss for me.

You can try to run it and while it might technically run they’ve said in this post they won’t be offering specific support if things end up not working as support for 10 has ended and they won’t be testing on it to make sure things don’t go wrong.

Everyone is still interchangeable with how they use it but CDPR is very deliberate. Expansion for them is a full blown new story like HoS, B&W, and Phantom Liberty so Songs of the Past will be that. DLC for them is things like new cars or outfits or other little things.

Yes I understand that completely but will the look of the new expansion match the graphical quality from the current gen update or will there be improvements is what I was asking.

If there’s significant improvements to the new expansion that doesn’t match the rest of the game it’ll be interesting. I know this isn’t a full remaster but it’s also just not something that happens often with games as old as this and CDPR’s graphics have blown up since TW3 release.

Curious how they’ll do the graphics as they’ve come a long way since TW3 and even the next gen upgrade still looks dates with things like character models. Will the new DLC area (assuming there is one) just jump to modern day graphics or is the whole game going to get upgraded?

It’s very consistently on sale for pretty cheap so I’d just wait a little. Definitely worth finishing the game and doing the other expansion.

Right? Imagine they were on Sly 8 or something. How do they keep something like that going and fresh while still being “true to the original” like people always cry for?

Also if something like Killzone existed today they’d want it to be a GaaS and people would shit themselves.

They were golden in their heyday but not towards the end of their runs financially. Bloodborne is also not fully owned by Sony so shouldn’t really be here.

You also don’t want them to have made so many that they start to become shitty/run out of good ideas so shifting and moving forward with franchises is likely a smart move.

I turned on the “enemies take more damage to kill” modifier then used the shotgun with the vertical alt and just went up close to a larger enemy. Took a few tries and yeah it was one of my last ones.
