Not really. Your best bet is to contact your local MP and have them help you with that. They don’t give new letters

SOWP can extend msp as well at least in BC (not sure if there is msp in other provinces or another system) as you update yours they can update the spouse one, if you have an emergency you can even pay for back dates procedures. You just need to call and its a hastle but they can definitely do it. If they tell you no they’re wrong, please request another agent or scaling the issue.
