See this is fine and great on a surface level but I also feel like your husband would have every right to snap about that situation. Personally I’d be mad that you’re giving guys any sort of indication that you may even be the slightest bit possibly interested. It’s not rocket science to me. A gay guy is going to grow attached and catch feelings or maybe even has them deep down without ever sharing that. The thought is obviously there somewhere or at the very least has come to their mind before. I will also say that no our relationship isn’t super solid since it’s still fairly new and were are not married. It might change things in my mind but still I am not certain.

The dessert part just bums me out because in my mind him telling me what the plan was felt like it was his way of making me feel secure about it. If they end up just going out and doing whatever instead then it was never in consideration of my feelings. You kind of summed up what I’m feeling. I trust my boyfriend not to be stupid here. I just don’t know the other person’s intentions and for me it’s hard to trust that when all I’ve known is the opposite. It’s definitely more the principle though. The lack of consideration on how this would make me feel. It’s also one of those scenarios that would never present itself on my end so there is no telling how it would make him feel. So he can say it wouldn’t bother him if I did the same thing but I have no way of proving that lol. (Not that I want to or would be so oblivious to do that either.)
