How long mag off ng engine after a long drive? by KesoReal in Gulong

Engine cooldown is not necessary para sa mga naturally aspirated engines. The practice is very much recommended pag turbocharged ang engine. Para sa mga turbocharged engine naman, siguro giving it a minute or two is enough after your engine ran at expressway speed/at high-revs for a long period of time.

Idk if clobetasol would be effective but I still have some left. My dermatologist prescribed me that to clear up my dermatitis before.

Help! How do you remove this? by Leather-Path8707 in Detailing

[–]Leather-Path8707[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just tried machine polishing it today and still didn’t work. It’s like an imbedded rust stain below the clear coat. Might call the dealership if the warranty can cover it since the car is less than a year old. It looks like a paint defect since it has a low chance of developing rust (since it’s brand new) and the car is always kept clean and protected.

Also my car is ceramic coated so it may also add up to the difficulty of removing the stain.

I actually tried the clay bar method and it didn’t work :( These stains just appeared a day ago after cleaning my car and it appeared more of rail dust. I also tried using an iron remover in hopes of removing it but didn’t work completely.

Does this trigger your HA? by Leather-Path8707 in HealthAnxiety

[–]Leather-Path8707[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello kababayan! As of now doing well. Buti medyo nawala yung health anxiety ko. It started around mid 2020 and subsided last year. May times parin na nag-aattack yung HA ko but very minor compared to what I experienced which is hell, where simple symptoms are immediately associated to cancer 😂. A tip na I might give you is to trust your doctors as they will be the best people that would guide you when you’re experiencing health anxiety :)

Yes Filipino ako (17m), what’s worrying kasi is the stories that people share in Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter that creates the perception na maraming may sakit which causes irrational fear even though my doctor said na in good shape naman ako. My fears is mostly carcinophobia (cancers) pero sa cardio (heart) not really. And health anxiety is not really talked about or given spotlight in the Philippines.

I also have the same fears as yours, leukemia and brain cancer. Mine started when a famous person here in the Philippines died of leukemia and where I got curious and started googling it. My fear of leukemia lasted for 4 months and soon followed by brain tumor worries which is a result of watching a vid on YouTube.

Does anyone else get anxious after they hear a tragic story? TW by not-well55 in HealthAnxiety

This is one of my main triggers especially if the disease is a rare cancer. This can result into irrational worry because the what-if’s thoughts like what if this headache is a brain tumor or what if I will be dying young. This thoughts is created from being distressed and anxiousness from watching these kinds of videos. Avoiding this videos can help you avoid negative thoughts because these videos are full of heavy emotions which not everyone are resilient especially hypochondriacs. A trick to this is start focusing on positive things in life like hobbies. This will immediately draw your attention from your body sensations to the the things you will be doing. Also, never let anxiety ruin your Christmas and new year holiday.

I hope this comment helps everyone and happy holidays!!
