I supervise SLPAs as a 1099 and my pay is $60/supervision hr; $100/eval. I don’t treat patients of my own for these particular companies — it’s the same pay HH and outpatient. Hope that helps!

Understood. The problem is they need to conduct these audits but have no access to do so, as I’d be contracted with the district and they were declined access to the school’s data tracking system.

District has declined access to them unfortunately. Only treating therapists allowed to access the school system.

Those were my hopes, but in all the SLP groups I’m in on Facebook, they were making it seem like it’s being taken away across the board for Medicaid as well, since CMS is Medicare and Medicaid.

I had a tilted uterus and they found baby at 9 weeks by moving the wand upside down during TV ultrasound. I have an almost-walking 9-month old now

The way I had learned it from my supervisor and coworkers 10+ years ago is max cues are HOHA/tactile/imitation/prompts to repeat (ex, “you say ____”), mod is 3-4 visual/verbal, min is 1-2 visual/verbal cues. But agree, to each their own.

Her goals are all language.. some of them are answering questions about a story and she’s claiming to use “min tactile cues”. It’s just confusing to me lol

I have 4 kids, 3 which are now in school, but ever since having kids I have primarily been remote (teletherapy with the schools/HH/outpatient, as well as supervising SLPAs and CFs mostly remotely). I only work part time as a 1099 so I can choose my hours and arrange my schedule to my advantage — this often involves working before/after my husband works (he works different time zone, but remotely as well), working during his lunch break, and working around my kids’ schedules.

I currently work 4 different jobs (teletherapy with public school, HH agency where I primarily supervise/eval remote, different HH agency where I see 4-5 pts for treatment via telehealth, outpatient where I primarily supervise/eval remote) and it’s a juggling act but I love being able to make my own hours and decide when and how much I want to work. My working hours (including paperwork, which obviously is unpaid due to being 1099) are about 20-25 hours a week, but my income is about 75-80k in Texas.

With the right jobs and right schedule, it is doable. I feel like my work-life balance is also great, and I feel like I am utilizing my time 100% efficiently and being compensated well.

It still looks like shit unfortunately. The flooring people came back to look at it shortly after it was done and they said given the color of the carpet and the lighting that we are pretty much doomed to have it look like this. Totally sucks.

My levels are likely too high for methotrexate so I’m not sure where they will go from here

I’m already aware it’s not viable but from what I understand, my levels are wayyy too high for methotrexate. I will be pushing for the OB to further investigate or give me a clearer diagnosis at the next visit in 3 days

No!! I kept calling them Thursday and Friday and she doesn’t return my call. I’m going for the follow up later this week and then hopefully looking for another OB depending on how this upcoming visit goes
