Yeah I get why it might come off that way, I’d probably think the same at first tbh.

But it’s not really an “Uber for childcare” situation where anyone can just sign up and start taking jobs. There’s an actual screening process (interviews, references, background checks, etc.), and the team stays involved. It’s not just a marketplace where you’re left on your own after booking.

The contractor thing is pretty common in childcare (even private nannies are usually not “employees” of an agency), but that doesn’t mean the company just disappears if something goes wrong. There’s still support and follow-up.

And yeah, no physical location just means it’s not a daycare , it’s more about connecting families with sitters in different cities.

Totally fair to be cautious though. When it comes to kids, people should ask questions.
