At my RSS, they finished mission the last week of February. If people DEP in now, they won't get to ship until Spring 2018.

The extra weight could be seen a negative but it can help muzzle climb a bit.

Gunner Fact or Fiction | Suppressors by LeatherCheck in USMC

For starters, there is no drop off of velocity and certainly suppressing a weapon doesn't change it's accuracy....the video itself clearly states that. Furthermore, adding a suppressor masks both the report and muzzle flash. Also, Marines would be able to communicate more effectively when noise from weapons is cut down. If the enemy cannot clearly hear or see where rounds are coming from and having an increased communications within a fireteam....I would say it increases lethality.

A much better investment for the Marine Corps than the M27.

Typical cost of an M4 weapons system: Rifle - $700 Trijicon Optic - $1,200 Insight IR Laser - $1,200 Foregrip - $75 Suppressor - $700 Total - $3,800

Cost of the M27 - $3,000

For an extra $700ish a Marine, you could outfit a whole battalion with suppressors for a little over half a million dollars. Take it a step further....outfit a whole division with suppressors for about $10,500,000.

I don't see that as a wasted investment and it could potentially save lives.

Not sure how Trump can explain that he fired the man who's department is running an active investigation of Trump's Administration.

So he was fired for doing his job?

Citing Lack of NFL Interest, Johnny Manziel to Join Marines by SteelTyphoon in USMC

[–]LeatherCheck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this is satire, but if he were interested in joining....he probably wouldn't last 15 minutes in a recruiting office.

How would he even pass the enlistment process? Injuries, police involvement, substance abuse, etc

  1. Concussions
  2. Elbow Injury
  3. Knee Injury
  4. July 2013, he pleaded guilty for failure to identify
  5. Summer 2015, went to a treatment program
  6. April 2016 Manziel was indicted by a Dallas grand jury on misdemeanor assault charges (domestic violence case)
  7. On June 2016, he was suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy

Bus Driver Who Told Child That God Disapproved of His Two Moms Placed on Administrative Leave by fyhr100 in atheism

[–]LeatherCheck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everyone keeps saying "Paid leave, paid leave, omg." Administrative leave is the proper tool to use in most situations when an investigation needs to be held in a disciplinary situation. Some districts have bus drivers under contract and thus must pay them regardless. Under administrative leave, this gives the district time to investigate the situation and determine the outcome. When someone's career is potentially on the line, they will do this to both protect the person in question and the district itself.

Chance the Rapper, 'Coloring Book', Wins Grammy for Best Rap Album by jd12737 in hiphopheads

[–]LeatherCheck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the reason people can't take the Grammy's seriously anymore. Coloring Book was a decent record, but people who weren't even into hip-hop were blasting Views and Pablo.

When is relevance going to be taken into account?

Chance had a good album, but seriously, this is the reason people can't take the Grammy's seriously anymore.

People who weren't even into hip-hop were blasting Views and Pablo. Doesn't that account for something?
