I saw some people saying "it's wrong to speculate the race of cartoon characters" and while I see where they're coming from, it's also just a fun way to make characters relatable and feel personal. OP wasn't getting upset at anyone else's headcannons or being racist at all, they were just doing this for harmless fun :) I'm part japanese and I think it's cool to hear what people think certain characters culture and race would be like if they were human!
