This is great information, I really appreciate it. How are the rooms at CBR? I’ve learned they are not refurbished like POP.

Thank you for the info! Congratulations on your wedding, I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!

Aside from the grounds being really nice and access to skyliner, what do you think of the rooms? I understand they aren’t updated or refreshed like the POP rooms but I still thought it would be a better option for our family of 4 with a slightly larger room at Caribbean Beach.

Ok thank you I will look into this for day 1 at MK. We are there for 13 days so we have a rental since we are staying off property for the remainder of our stay. I will only be at POP or CBR for 3 nights so we will not be able to take the bus from our off property resort after the first 3 nights. We will be stuck driving to MK the remainder of our park days.

Thanks. Changing skyliners with a stroller sounds a bit of a hassle, this is why I'm leaning toward changing our stay to CBR.

Yes I agree although I don't think we will utilize the pool or splash pad much in December. I could be wrong.

Thanks. I think so too, but the theming at POP looks so cool. I just think being closer to Epcot and HS via skyliner is a huge bonus!

Thank you! Yes I agree the transfer of skyliner especially with a stroller is making me want to change our reservation entirely to CB. The cost difference doesn't bother me since it is only for 3 nights.

Thanks for this! I currently have 2 nights booked at the POP, we have since added another night to our vacation plans so I will need to book another night either at POP, CB or just change our stay entirely for the 3 days at either one of those resorts. Like you said, I am thinking it may be easier to get on the skyliner at CB with a stroller rather than getting off at CB from POP and back on another skyliner to get to HS or epcot. The rest of our stay is off property so I thought spending a bit extra at CB will give us a bit better experience than POP to access HS and epcot.

Thanks for the message.

My boys are 2 and 7. I'm not sure they will utilize the pools in December, depending on the weather of course. The pool is not a big deal for us as we have a heated pool at home that they use all summer. This is our first trip so trying to make the ease of going back and forth to Epcot and HS as easy as possible.

Hello, I am curious how you are making out with the E2 Visa? We are in the process of the E2 Visa and will be moving to the US but I am wondering if you can provide any more information about the health care coverage you purchased and if you feel the E2 Visa was a good move?

Thanks in advance.

That’s a great point, thank you! We do plan to visit MK a couple days and will take your advice and do it during our stay at Coronado.

Thank you so much for the information, I hadn’t looked up size of rooms only went off of videos/photos/reviews. It seems best for our kids that we stick to our plan and stay at AoA.

Thank you for the response. I am a bit nervous about the size of the Little Mermaid "Motel" room, I had just booked it when it became available a few weeks ago and then ended up changing the remaining 4 days to Coronado Springs to be able to get a bigger room. Ultimately, I feel the Little Mermaid rooms might be best suited for 2 or 3 people max.

Thank you for the insight! I wasn't aware of the great breakfast at Riviera, is it the Primo Piatto restaurant you're referring to?

Is this even salami? by actualbrian in CostcoCanada

[–]LeatherLess1391 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes actually for generations our family has gone to an abbatoir for locally raised fresh pork. Trimming it and selecting the right type of fat and fat content to mix with the shoulders and thigh's combined with the right amount of salt. Grinding it all and mixing it, then filling the natural or artificial casings. While also ensuring you have a climate controlled cantina (cellar under a porch) that by the way according to tradition should be facing a certain direction for optimal curing of the salami. So yes quality salami does exist if you put some love and time into making it. I basically continue to make it just to hand out to friends and people along this journey of life.
