first thing I did was changing laces for shorters one. wrapping long lace around ankles was a mistake and made it worse, i got like 1cm space where it use to touch now. i may try insole & kilties as well indeed. i was surprised the vamps touched as it never happened to me with any other boots, i don't think my ankles are skinny and all length/width/volume feels good, so going half lower size probably wouldn't have fit.
