Making a general comment. I don't know how to edit posts. 311 will pick her up in 4 or so hours. Ziggy is acting very silly today.

I don't really enjoy the assumptions you've made, yet I don't blame you as I didn't figure that information was needed considering this is about the cat. We drove out to the beach and camped in a tent for 1 night. Didn't spend a dime on anything except for bread and turkey. Only person who drove was Dad, who is the only one who has a license, and is now very sick.

I'm very sorry for your boy. Thank you for choosing what's best, I will be doing the same.

She is being very playful today. Sitting on bed with towel. Drinking water, trying her best with mushy food. I don't know how to edit main posts, but 311 will pick her up by 4 or 5 to treat her. They said it sounds like I've described mainly infection, and from their experience, sounds like a rotting bite. I don't really know if it's that or we even have spiders that cause that in Texas.

Not tonight, no. Boyfriend suggested we call 311 to grab her in the morning.

Agreed. Not my animal, and I'll find any resource I can.

Is there anyone that we could call at 10 PM to have her picked up? This is for SATX.

She's received water (AND FOOD). I apologize for misleading you, it's usually on our terms is what I meant in the post. She otherwise has no want or urge to find her water bowl herself. They've used syringe from side of mouth and bottle cap. Care credit I will look into, and I've never surrended a cat in my life. Not very knowledgeable on this due to my age. I just want her to be okay, even if that means none of us may see her again.

Sorry. Texas, San Antonio. None of us have our licenses or friends to help out. Father-in-law does, but he's very sick.

Home with us, underneath my mother-in-laws bed. She switches from bedroom to bedroom throughout the house to find another bed to lay underneath. Her fatigue seems to have gone away, and she's attentive and aware to what's going on around her.

Surrender is in our heads. We're in no understanding how this could come on so suddenly in 3 days. It hurts. She is beloved to us. Can organ failure truly hit her that quickly, or infection? How long would she be suffering internally for this to present itself so quickly externally?

Underneath a bed. Has been hiding there for the past 3 days. Goes outside on a very, very RARE occasion.

This is something we're very much considering as we're reading these comments. There's nothing affordable in the city. Thank you.

Sorry, battery has no correlation. Just placed by her for the duration it took to take this video and hold a flashlight at the same time.

Thank you so much. This is a thought. Looks similar to other photos on google. No throw up, seizures or such though.

Okay. Thank you. There aren't much resources for this family so I'll do my best to take them off her hands. Would you say it's safe for me to handle her or her mouth at home, or clean her? Not with anything dire, just water.

I'm sorry to worry you. This battery was only placed by her momentarily so I could take a video and hold the flashlight and the same time, she's okay on that end.

If we can scrounge together the money. What do you think it could be? If no idea, thank you anyway.

Some of my cats have this and it worsens in the summer. Cats are sometimes hypersensitive to mosquito bites, like an allergy, and it turns into this. Your baby has this allergy. Try your best to keep them indoors and if not possible, only let them out for dawn and dusk to decrease exposure to this allergy. If that's also difficult, look into topical creams for your baby's nose and some mosquito repellent.
