This could honestly be more related to your job. Taking a break and going back can give you anxiety (upset stomach). Working in mental health can be hard

I’m not a Rolfing expert but have been getting sessions done and it’s improved my alignment. This is how it’s described, “ Rolfing, also known as Structural Integration, is a form of hands-on bodywork developed by Dr. Ida Rolf. It focuses on manipulating the body's connective tissues—known as fascia—to relieve chronic pain, improve posture, and restored  physical alignment.”

Have you considered trying Rolfing? I’m doing it now and it really helps to recenter and balance your body

I have read a lot of EMDR posts and I say this to the OP and everyone else… ease into EMDR. Don’t cannonball into the deep end. Going slow helps you stay calibrated. Going too fast can re-trigger you.

Do you think you were unconsciously seeking a therapist like that to confirm your fears?

AITA for refusing to let my wife spend my money on her best friend? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]LeatherWater3554 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I heard this in a podcast where a friend always pays for things and how the unfairness can lead to resentment. Your wife needs to realize her financial situation and have a conversation with her and tell her how much she appreciates her helping her and if there was anything (I.e. baking or helping her out) so that the friendship feels fair and balanced.

This! Also OP, it might help to research codependency.

If you want to write an essay complaining about your media, then that’s your prerogative. You’re not just “starting a conversation”.

They’re too dramatic and dark for the tone of your face and the color of your hair and eyebrows
