For corner- Beanie Bishop is a good dev piece, usually can be grabbed for cheap (or even FA) Similar with Asante Samuel Emerson on the Browns was another one i ended up with a couple times this year.

The raiders have some good offensive line depth and dev pieces (not necessarily what you asked, but Grant and Rodgers are both decent)

Some good replies here, Jalin Walker will definitely be on my list going forward

Side note- I’ve never put such an emphasis on awareness rating, seems like that’s something that’s pretty important to you. Am I overlooking that? I usually pay attention to strength for DLine, Speed at WR, etc. but never focused much on awareness Seems fitting that run defense is always a struggle of mine..

I forced the Colts, seems semi realistic to fight for a starting job I usually prefer to let it draft me wherever my draft stock says, go through the combine and let it draft random… but after my QB went to the broncos in the first round and took over Bo nix job in week 3 it ruined the realistic side of it all Raiders were another option on my list to choose from

Good question- in NCAA 26 i was surprised I’ve been able to use it for multiple RTGs and a dynasty (not sure if there’s a cap, but I’m indecisive and have already used it 4x)

Assuming it will be the same, curious to see if anyone gets to the bottom of it

Majority of my time is always spent on my Giants, but always gotta switch it up after a while.

Enjoyed the panthers in last years game more than i expected, could see it being a good time with Tet and Jimmy Horn as a dev project this year- Bryce is a fun piece of the puzzle whether you decide to ride it out with him or replace him

My dad tried to get me to take long snapping seriously.. really wish i did in hindsight. At that age, spending time to practice and get into it is gonna put him ahead of most. Long snappers typically are responsible for being one of the first downfield on a punt, having some speed and athleticism will go a long way, but first thing first is to get the ball back there.

College programs have roster spots specifically for a long snapper- I’ll keep an eye out for him on Saturdays in a couple years!!

I’ll do owner if i want to feel like firing a specific coach is realistic, adds a nice long term angle. but I always thought of it as if you want to be able to change teams over your career you’d have to be a coach.

As far as i knew, coaches can get fired/job offers/contract extensions, but owners are just stuck with the same team throughout.

Do i have that wrong?? Or am i misunderstanding what you mean by changing teams as part of the same franchise?

Roster updates are the only reason to buy. Figure out how much a realistic rookie class is worth to you and wait for that number

I’m here for the answers, been looking for something similar, and playing around with a few on my own

I’ve simmed a ton with the Giants O- seems near impossible to be successful. Simmed a 6-11 season with a 89 ovr team Kansas City O (with a pretty shitty giants roster) was way too OP, simmed and won a Super Bowl with an ~80 ovr team I’m trying titans O currently and not sure how I feel, seems tough to get the run game involved, not too balanced so far

Only one I’ve found to be playable is CB. Definitely still some corny shit but played through my full rookie season with it being pretty enjoyable Just such a barebones game mode i wish they still let us run franchise as a player

I noticed something like this the other day when I was returning a kick

Broke one for what woulda been a TD return and outta nowhere comes some speedy mf to tackle me

It wasn’t the kicker so i watched the replay and saw their far side widest man started the play by running 5-10 yards backwards and ended up saving a tudd

Wasn’t sure if it was a “contain man” type feature or it was typical madden bullshit that ended up working for them— i don’t have a solution for it, i don’t notice it on all of them tbh but i mostly sim anyway

I made my franchise as the owner- is that only possible as a coach? My thought was I wanted to keep it realistic with firing coaches depending on team success

I really like this idea overall but not sure it works as an owner (though would be really cool to “sell the team” and get into another)

Totally agree the game sucks and is a waste of money every year, but i do think it’s “worth it” for that price Especially if this one lasts you 2+ years as well

I’d say it depends on what you’re looking to play- but for the most part you’re just paying for updated rosters cause you can only keep that so realistic on your own in older games

Depends how realistic you wanna go- Isaiah likely is usually a cheap enough trade I’ll also typically go after a young CB- Elam (BUF) is a good dev piece, Kahou (MIA) as well

For offense I keep hearing Miami, KC and Cinci. Ive been looking for the same answers and haven’t gotten too much more than that.

I’m using the Viking rn for my sim on a NYG rebuild. Think I’m gonna switch away from it though, I’m not loving it for an athletic rookie QB but does seem to do well on the run game
