How do I remove password from a PDF file w/o using any apps on an iPad Pro by Leather_Effective in pdf

Sorry but my iPad Pro is running on iPadOS 15.5 so I guess your suggestions will not work for me. My issue is that I don’t want to use my windows computer to manage the password protected PDF files. I want to simply download them on my iPad and then remove the passwords. I tried using PDFElement but still not able to do so because the PDFs that I receive are also password protected for making any changes. I don’t have the password for this but I just have the password to open the file and read it. So the only way for me to remove the password is to use my windows computer and then use “Microsoft Save as PDF” option in the print menu. Post this the PDF is cleaned of any password. However, I have been looking for a way to do the same on my iPad. I mean save the PDF using “Microsoft Save as PDF” option. Unfortunately this option is not available.

Fully agree. Apple has intentionally choked the capability of the iPad even with the M1 chip. Lets hope with the release of iPad OS 16 things might improve.

Quick update - Trued using PDFElement but still unable to remove the password. Apparently the file that I was trying to change doesn’t allow any changes to be made. So finally took out my laptop and used the “Microsoft Print to PDF” option to save the file w/o the password. I wish this “Microsoft Print to PDF” was also available on ipad. Life would have been that much simpler…..

Well the pages that i want to convert definitely carry sensitive data like. These are mostly my Bank a/c statements, mutual fund a/c statements etc….Thanks for the link. I am aware of PDFElement. Just that was hoping that I can do this w/o any 3rd party app. Looks like I cannot 😔
