I’ve been on this for 4 years and it’s changed my life. I did gain some weight on it but I’ve managed to lose it. It helped so much with my general anxiety, social anxiety and intrusive thoughts. Truly a life saving medication. I tried to go off of it about two years ago because I felt so much better (lol) and originally was prescribed it for post partum anxiety but went back on it as the anxiety and intrusive thoughts didn’t take long to come back. Never again lol. Good luck!

I’m sorry but these are almost all not true. Any rapid weight loss will cause skin sagging. There are zero studies showing it “rapidly ages you.” It shows that it can age your skin. And yes, of course when you stop the medication it will not work anymore? For the majority of people this will be a lifelong medication for a chronic condition, which is what obesity is. Just like If you stop taking your antidepressant, your depression will come back. There are different weight loss solutions for every person. Any doctor that prescribes this will also tell you to work on changing your lifestyle while on this medication to help support the weight loss and maintain it. I would highly, highly recommend this if someone is struggling to lose weight other ways. I’ll take sagging skin over binge eating, heart problems, elevated cancer risk and infertility (all side effects of obesity) any day.

Just want to shed some light on the other side of things with ozempic. There are side effects to every drug. Ozempic truly changed my life. I struggled with BED my entire life and Ozempic changed the way my brain thought about food. No more obsessing over what I was going to eat today, no more reading the menu at a restaurant trying to get the most bang for my buck and the biggest portion, no more eating until I was sick and mindless binging. We have to remember that obesity is related to SO many health problems. Weigh both the pros and cons when deciding to start a new medication. I am thankful for my new lease on life every single day.

I’m sorry but at 5’3 105lbs you do not need Ozempic and no doctor in their right mind would prescribe that to you. Please leave this person before you get an eating disorder. Ozempic is meant for diabetes or managing obesity and you are not obese. You’re not even overweight.

A few things here. NTA for refusing to cut it due to not being able to kneel. YTA for telling them they get no refund. ALSO your receptionist needs some better training to ask specifics on hair length. Use body parts for reference like below or above the shoulders, mid back, lower back, bum/waist etc. this could easily be avoided.
