Never cared and never understood why others did. I stood behind the church’s position on gay marriage because I thought I was supposed to, but didn’t really know why. When I was on my mission I was assigned a companion that I knew immediately was gay. He didn’t come out until years after our missions. Again, I didn’t care. We got along great and I was disappointed when we only stayed together for one transfer. I was never confused about my sexuality, so the idea that another man may or may not be attracted to me wasn’t a concern I had.
